A few comments regarding how we trade, what we have, and why it works like it does...

CD Quality Grading:

This is important, and as such, we are conservative. We grade on a scale from A+ to F (F being unbearable, A+ being studio / soundboard quality). The ones in between fill a grey area where we try to be as realistic as possible. That said, a B+ sounds good to most ears, a D is rough for sure, and we may not even keep the recording. We try our best to err on the side of grading too lowly rather than too high; we want everyone to be prepared for what they get in a trade.

CD-r trading is a hobby and as such, should be enjoyable However, this does not mean we don't hold potential traders responsible for sending material in a timely manner that meets the description offered.

Japanese CD-r media or comparable is a strict requirement. Our CD's are normally FujiFilm or more recently Taiyo Yuden. In the same vein, all CD's should be burned DAO.

Audio Extraction is done with Exact Audio Copy (EAC) or equivalent for all CDs we create. We expect comparable quality for CDs we receive. EAC can be downloaded free of charge from www.ExactAudioCopy.de.

We do not sell anything, and will not trade official releases. Official Releases are included on our list for comparison and tracking purposes only. Furthermore, we typically won't trade alternative versions of shows that have been released officially.

We prefer trading CDRs for CDRs, but on occasion will accept cassette recordings for CDRs. a DVD is usually equal to 2 CDRs in a trade.

Our list clearly indicates what we have in mp3 format, leftover from the Napster days. We expect potential traders to also clearly delineate anything that is mp3 sourced.

We will provide clean unmarked discs, and expect the same. This includes writing of any kind and certainly any form of 'CD' label. Post-It notes are acceptable or some other form of identification, as we do need to be able to identify the discs.

We provide all setlists on this web page. Furthermore, wemay enclose setlists with our discs, but this is not required in return, although it is greatly appreciated!.

At this point, we do not have most of our concerts graded, but will gladly provide what information we can upon request...we grade conservatively -- there is nothing worse than overrating the quality of a concert for trade.

We have never had anyone unhappy with a trade...technology being what it is, mistakes can occur, so if there is any problem with any of our traded discs, just let us know and we will make amends.

When shipping, do not bother with jewel cases - CD envelopes or CaseLogic type holders are fine.
